It uses supportive narration, age-appropriate vocabulary, and simple, bright graphics. Children can use the program independently or it can be used by the teacher for group sessions.

There are ten carefully structured activities designed to develop and reinforce basic skills. These cover counting and recognising numerals to nine, counting sets of items to eight, vocabulary of size and colour, repeating patterns, phonemes, rhymes, matching and sorting, listening skills and retelling a story. Three difficulty levels mean children with a range of abilities can use it. Each activity has accompanying resource sheets, so children can continue related work away from the computer and there is a useful ICT record.
