Dagenham in east London will have more childcare provision when the John Perry Children's Centre has its official opening on 17 March and the Castle Green Children's Centre also opens the following week, creating around 75 new daycare places in Dagenham. The move to launch 14 children's centres is funded by Barking and Dagenham Council, and will be completed in September when the last three centres are unveiled.
