Johnny Ball gives support for Unicef

(Photograph) - Former children's television presenter Johnny Ball has called on schools to raise money for Unicef's vital work with children growing up alone in Uganda and Romania by registering for this year's Unicef Day for Change - national non-uniform day, to be held on 2 February. He said, 'School uniform makes you part of a team. Just for one day, be part of a bigger team. Thousands of children in Romania and Uganda may be the same age as you, but the similarity stops there.' Registration packs are available by e-mailing day4change@unicef.org.uk or calling Selwa Calderbank on 020 7312 7621. Photo: UNICEF/UK/Mark Thompson
