Children aged eight to 12 are being urged to get more involved in democracy and citizenship through the Junior Exec website launched by the Scottish Executive. The site at www.juniorexec.gov.uk includes information on schools, health, law and order and the environment, and material is delivered in a fun way with games, animations and video clips. Teaching notes, guidance and background information can be found in a special teacher/parent zone.
