Kids, a charity and service provider for disabled children, young people and their families, has appointed Kevin Williams, the current national secretary for YMCA England, as its new chief executive. Mr Williams, who will take up his post in early May, replaces Dr Sam Brier, who left Kids in October 2005 to take up freelance consultancy work. Caroline Emerton, Kids' director of finance and IT, is serving as interim chief executive.
