Laing and Buison

Laing and Buison has pointed out two statistical errors in its Children's Nurseries 2004 report (News, 4 March). Philip Blackburn, senior economist at Laing and Buisson, said, 'The total capacity in the children's daycare nursery sector increased by over 11 per cent in 2003 - not over 13 per cent as stated, and demand from parents for day nursery places during 2003 grew by 7 per cent and not 10 per cent, as stated.'
