Language centre expands

The Reading and Language Information Centre in Berkshire has changed its name to the National Centre for Language and Literacy. The name change, which took place in September, reflects the centre's expanding commitment to teachers throughout the UK.

The Centre, which has offered support to teachers and parents for 30 years, has a reputation for excellence in education. It also houses a permanent exhibition of 18,000 'in print' books for children and teachers at the Bulmershe Campus of the University of Reading.
