If you are at all unsure about how best to integrate ICT provision into your setting, a new publication from the Bolton LEA Curriculum ICT Centre is well worth a look. ICT in the foundation stage offers advice on age-appropriate hardware - and ways to ensure it survives its life in the classroom, software and general advice, with up-to-date information on learning goals. As we go to press there were plans to put extracts on the centre's website, www.tfict.org.uk, where you can find other examples of its publications and services. The book costs 10 (inc p+p) and is available from the new on-line shop (www.theictshop.com) the centre launched in January.
