Let's get real about nappies

Imagine a world where babies wear comfy cotton nappies, save their parents money and avoid producing landfill waste from their nappy changes.

This is the picture of a nursery using cotton nappies, an ever more popular practice in the UK. Nurseries have a key role to play in informing parents and giving them the chance to put their babies in cotton for a large part of the day.

Just one nursery using nappies on 30 babies can avoid throwing away up to 600 nappies per week. That's 31,200 less nappies thrown into landfill per year.

Using cotton nappies can help nurseries gain professional recognition. With cotton users on the up, nurseries can achieve 'green credentials' in this growing market, not only increasing their appeal to parents but also actively reducing their impact on the environment by reducing waste.
