Local trusts get 3.3m for partnerships

The Children's Workforce Development Council has allocated 3.3m to enable local children's trusts to engage the private and third sectors in integrated workforce strategies. free conference 'Practice Makes Perfect', where voluntary, community and faith organisations came together to discuss workforce reform. Ms Haywood called it 'a critical stage of workforce reform' and said, 'We would have wasted a chance if we don't pull together.'

The CWDC has allocated shares to each children's trust area in England, with 30,000 going to each shire county and 20,000 to unitaries, metropolitan districts and London boroughs. Children's trusts will be required to create a detailed proposal for the CWDC with their third and private sector partners by the end of June.
