Get knitting
The National Society of Day Nurseries has over 140 affiliated nurseries, all over England and Scotland, many of them in very poor districts. From these come constant requests to headquarters for warm clothing. To meet this need a Knitting Guild has been formed. Members are asked to give at least two garments a year or a small subscription. As the garments needed are all for children under five years old, there is not a great deal of labour entailed, and those of our readers who are knitters may like to join the Guild. 22 January 1936
