The nursery is mainly used by parents and carers working at Sutton and Merton Primary Care Trust, which has kindly contributed to the cost, as did B&Q in Sutton.
The children were excited to watch the garden develop and really love it now it's finished. It is designed to stimulate the senses and encourage creative, mathematical, physical and social development. There are also areas to encourage children to develop their literacy skills and understanding of the world. Special features include a herb garden and a miniature road where the children can drive mini cars.
