Step by step
* Visit a garden. Discuss the plants, the gardeners' work and the tools they use.
* At the nursery, let the children handle the tools and describe, from their own experiences, how they are used. Introduce relevant vocabulary, such as digging, planting, watering, mowing and weeding.
