Make a mark

Children can become totally absorbed with dragging a mouse to make marks and will spend considerable time perfecting their technique and skills. It is important to use the largest brush size available on your art program for this activity; too small a brush will extend the time of the activity, to the extent that the child will become bored and lose interest. You may need to investigate options to adjust the brush size. If you are using Paint (complimentary on PC machines) then one way round this is to use the magnifier facility. Click the magnifying glass icon and then click in the top left corner of the screen to zoom in. The brush sizes will be much larger.
