Spring is on its way and one of its first special occasions is Mother's Day on 10 March. This year, why not make it a day to remember for all of you and, with the children, prepare the Mum you work for a treat? It may be treat enough for her just not having to cook! And at times like these, other people's culinary work always tastes a hundred times better.
The food you surprise Mum with can be really simple. It could be a breakfast, lunch or supper dish. A bit of planning will be needed but all the children can help, depending on their ages. Much of the food could be made in advance and some could be stored or frozen.
