I'd like to remind readers who would like get involved in this year's ChildLine Pedal Push to register without delay. Pedal Push is good fun and it's so easy to join in. Children simply collect sponsors from among their friends and family, then do as many laps as they wish around a course at their local nursery school or playgroup on bikes, trikes, roller-skates, scooters or even pushchairs.

I'm delighted to support the Pedal Push again this year. Every day ChildLine answers calls from 2,300 children. But the enormous demand for service means that hundreds more are unable to get through. Every penny raised from the Pedal Push will enable ChildLine to answer more calls and ensure that children reach the support, advice and protection its counsellors provide.
