A three-year-old girl was sent home from nursery because her pink wellies were considered a health and safety risk, said the Mirror.

Mother Neisha Wilson claimed staff at Masefield Primary near Bolton saidher daughter's wellies were unsuitable, though the head said it was amisunderstanding.

Children should be banned from using computers in schools until they arenine because the early use of technology is destroying their attentionspans, according to psychologist Dr Aric Sigman, reported in the DailyTelegraph.
