A seven-year-old girl ran up a 250 bill in under an hour after playing a game on Facebook, reported the Daily Mail.
Megan Fox from Birmingham spent the money while playing the Petvillegame which allows users to purchase virtual clothes and furniture fortheir virtual pet. Her father, who had let Megan log on to his Facebookaccount, said he did not realise she was spending real money.
Almost 20 per cent of children under 15 years old have never paddled inthe sea, according to a survey by travel agent www.sunshine.co.uk andreported in the Daily Express. It also found that two-thirds of childrenhave not been camping and 32 per cent have never built a sandcastle.
