Children dressed as witches, skeletons and vampires get more sweets on Halloween than those in Freddie Krueger or Scream outfits, according to a survey of 2,000 adults by George at Asda, reported in the Daily Telegraph, which said that people's generosity is heavily influenced by the quality of costumes on children turning up at their door.
