Meningitis service

Nanny Paula Jackson is organising another 'service of thanksgiving and hope' for those affected by meningitis. Paula, who looked after a child who survived meningitis, says she received many thanks and compliments for a similar service she held two years ago. As before, she says, anyone is welcome, 'however your life was touched by meningitis, whatever the outcome, whether as the patient, parent, sibling, grandparent, carer, friend'. The non-denominational service, at 2pm on Saturday 22 March at Christchurch, Waterden Road, Guildford, Surrey, will include solo and choir singing and a candle-lighting ceremony. For details contact Paula on 01483 577 232.
