Minding your business

People unsure about whether to become a childminder now have the assistance of a manual to help them decide. The manual, Is childminding the right job for me?, has been produced by the National Childminding Association (NCMA) to help local authorities give potential registered childminders the best start possible. Although Ofsted is now responsible for childminding registration and inspection in England, local authorities have retained their responsibility for offering briefing/information sessions to those wanting to become a registered childminder.
