More than one million children growing up without a father

Some British children are growing up in 'men deserts', because they are growing up without a father and have no male teachers, a report claims.

According to the Centre for Social Justice report, to be published this week, lone parent families are growing by more than 20,000 a year and will reach two million by the next general election.
