Moving on at the new Norland

The first 30 Norland College nursery nurses to complete their training at the new premises in Bath received their awards at a graduation ceremony on 6 May. It was also an occasion to honour principal Kay Crosse, who is retiring in July after more than 20 years at the college. Kay is pictured receiving the gift of a Bath aqua glass from this year's head nurse, Georgina Faron. The new principal just appointed is Thirza Ashelford, who trained as a Norland nurse herself in the 1970s, and most recently has been head of business and professional studies at Bridgwater College, Somerset.
