She says that as a female politician, she has been nicknamed by journalists as 'nanny', and finds this quite sexist. 'Don't get me wrong,' says the MP, 'on the positive side, nannies are wonderful people - nurturing, loving and generally supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Let's face it, that's not a bad thing to be, particularly in a job where you need to develop a thick skin at a very early stage.'
