NDNA 30-hour spring events open to all settings

Nurseries will have the chance to familiarise themselves with the reality of delivering the Government's 30 hour childcare offer during a series of events organised by the National Day Nurseries Association.

An early implementer from one of the 30 hour pilot areas will be sharing their experiences and knowledge with delegates from the nursery sector.

The member events will feature discussions about details and challenges related to the delivery of 30 funded hours, tax-free childcare and universal credit.

The events are free to members but open to non-members for a charge and will take place in the north of England and the Midlands, Scotland, and Wales in March and April.

Government representatives will also be attending selected events to discuss the new childcare benefits.

Purnima Tanuku, chief executive of the NDNA, said, ‘We look forward to welcoming nurseries to our spring member events in England when you can hear the experiences of those who are involved in the early implementer pilots and ask questions about how they are dealing with various issues.
