NDNA to hold Ofsted briefing events

The National Day Nurseries Association is holding a series of free events during the year with Ofsted.

The aim is to give all early years and childcare professionals the chance to hear more about the new Common Inspection Framework, which will come into force in September.

Ofsted representatives will give updates abot what the changes will mean for the early years sector.

NDNA’s chief executive Purnima Tanuku said, ‘We felt it was very important for the childcare sector to be able to hear from Ofsted and speak with them about the upcoming changes, so we agreed with Ofsted to open our events up to non-members at no charge.’

Ofsted early years director Nick Hudson said, ‘This is an exciting time for the early years sector. From September, inspections of nurseries and other early years settings will be carried out in line with the common inspection framework.
