‘The History of the British Nanny’, which has been organised by the National Nanny Association, delves into the history of the profession over the last 150 years through a series of photos.

The photos are from nannies who have made their mark in history and those lesser known who work to raise and educate the public on the uniqueness of professional nanny role, says Allie Bell and Maria Culley, founders of the Association.

Taking place in North London on 13 July, the aim of the exhibition is to educate, empower and inspire the current and future professional nanny industry.

The National Nanny Association is now looking for drawings, paintings and collages of nannies by the children they care for.
