New research by the Scottish Executive

New research by the Scottish Executive recommends minimum requirements for play areas and open space for all new housing, retail, industrial and leisure developments. The recommendation for a housing development with more than ten houses is 60 square metres of open space per household, made up of 40 square metres of parks and sports areas and 20 square metres of informal and formal play areas.
