New set of leaflets developed giving information on giving medicines

Information on giving medicines to infants, children and young people is available in a new set of leaflets developed by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in conjunction with the Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacists Group and national children's charity WellChild. The leaflets for carers and parents provide up-to-date information about medicine dosages and side effects and general advice. There are currently leaflets for 25 medicines, including treatments for pain and epilepsy. To download the information leaflets visit www.medicinesforchildren.org.uk.
