But I don't class my annual salary of 12,879 as being expensive for the job I do, working with children who have special needs whose behaviour is often very challenging. In Cardiff the council is trying to change the job titles of all support staff to 'teaching assistant', regardless of whether they have any qualifications. It makes me feel totally undervalued as a professional.
