Not just paint pots

Estelle Morris clearly does not understand the role of the teaching assistant if she thinks that cleaning paint pots and tidying up is the extent of their expertise in relieving the teachers. Otherwise, I am very pleased that teaching assistants have begun to get the recognition they deserve from the Government, in contributing significantly to learning standards.
