- A day for fun

St Cuthbert's and Palatine Children's Centre in Blackpool entertainedmore than 160 children and their parents at their fun day last month.Activities included jewellery making, arts and crafts, role play, facepainting and a visit from a children's entertainer.

- Graduation party

Gaynes Park Children's Day Nursery in Upminster, Essex, said goodbye topupils moving up to big school with a graduation and garden party. Thenursery raised 250 from the event, which was donated to theLennox Children's Cancer Fund.

- Stay awake, staff

Staff at Teddies Nursery in Basingstoke, Hampshire, took part in asponsored 'stay awake' last month to raise money for the company'scharity, the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children. Nine members ofstaff worked a full day and stayed awake for 24 hours at nursery. So farthey have raised over 600.
