Chatterbox Chats

Early years settings across the country took part in a world recordattempt for the largest game of Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes on 1March as part of the I CAN communication charity's annual ChatterboxChallenge. Fundraising and singing went hand in hand at Looby Lou'sNursery in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, Care 4 Kids in Blackburn,Lancashire, and Tops Day Nursery at the Queen Alexandra Hospital inPortsmouth, who were joined in their efforts by the Mayor of Portsmouth,Councillor Paula Riche.

Day at the Museum

Milton Keynes childminder Lindsay Marriott took the children in her careto the Natural History Museum in Tring, Hertfordshire. She said, 'Thehighlight of the visit was getting up close to some exhibits as part ofan educational session called "Can you handle it?" The children got tohold a walrus skull, a dead sea horse, a mole skeleton, whale andelephant teeth and elephant dung that had been painted withvarnish.'
