Thanks to volunteers
The help of volunteers was celebrated at an event at a Sure Start centrein Chatham, Kent, last week (6 June).
Six new volunteers at the All Saints centre were presented withcertificates to thank them for their hard work by Linda Fiddyment, ofthe All Saints Church Community Project. The new recruits will join thecentre's other 22 volunteers.
Jo Bunn, community development co-ordinator, said, 'We want to celebrateour volunteers, who are the unsung heroes of the centre. They provide avaluable service and we want them and their families to know how much weappreciate their support.'
