- Bright spooks

Children from Bright Kids Nursery in Studley, Warwickshire, attended aspooky fun day for Halloween, dressing up in scary costumes, creatingghosts and ghouls and dunking for apples. Nursery manager LorraineAshford said, 'It was lovely to see the staff and children from both thenursery and the out-of- school club all taking part.'

- The family farm

To promote spending time together as a family, fathers and children fromchildren's centres across Sunderland got together to carve pumpkins andmake scarecrows at Down at the Farm activity farm in Houghton. Theyexplored the working farm and learned about the many animals who livethere, including raccoons, tortoises and wallabies.
