Nursery group acquires eighth setting

Mace Montessori Schools has expanded its portfolio of London nurseries by becoming the new operator of Fortune Green nursery in north-west London.

The leasehold interest in the nursery was sold off an asking price of £150,000 to the private childcare provider. The new nursery acquisition is the eighth nursery owned by Mace Montessori Schools across six London boroughs.

Located in West Hampstead, the nursery is a full conversion from an empty shell. The sale was managed by specialist property adviser Christie + Co, which was able to facilitate Fortune Green’s wishes to find a buyer willing to take on the nursery without making many changes.

Elizabeth Dillon, director of Fortune Green nursery, said, ‘Christie + Co found me the right buyer, who was committed, professional and who saw the inherent value and potential in my nursery.’
