So that parents could gain more of an understanding of their child'snursery experience, Windham Nursery School launched its Play and Observesessions. The initiative is now in its second year, and has quicklybecome an established part of the nursery's provision.
During the spring term, parents are invited to spend a whole morning orafternoon with their child who shows them around the nursery. Parentsare encouraged to join in with their child's playing when they are bothindoors and outdoors. They can also eat lunch at the nursery with theirchild on that day if they want to do so.
These sessions offer a practical and accessible way for all parents toget involved in their children's learning.
