Nursery World Awards 2012 now open for entries

This is the fifth year of the Nursery World Awards, which have become the top accolades for the early years education and childcare sector. Our 2012 awards are now open, so take the time to enter and ensure that you and your colleagues receive the recognition you deserve. It's also an opportunity to celebrate and inspire others!

A fabulous time was had by all at last year's event that took place at the Lancaster London.

Once again our award categories are divided into four sections:

  • Individuals - with awards for all levels from newcomer to nursery manager
  • Organisations - nurseries, pre-schools, schools and children's centres
  • Initiatives - a wide range of categories from nursery food to enabling environments
  • Equipment - for under-threes, three to fives and staff resources

This year, we have introduced some exciting new categories to widen the reach of the Awards:

  • Children's centre team
  • Nursery operations/regional manager - for individuals working across some or all of a group's settings
  • Outstanding contribution - for an individual whose long service and dedication are truly inspiring.

We'll be enlisting the help of an eminent panel of judges from across the early years sector and the Nursery World Awards will be presented at a glamorous ceremony on 28 September at the Lancaster London.

You have until 11 May to send in your entries for the Awards. Go to www.nurseryworldawards.com, where you will find all the information you need.
