More investment in school grounds is needed to support the country's growing interest in sport in the run-up to the Olympic Games to be hosted by London in 2012, the school grounds charity Learning through Landscapes has warned. It said schools still have 'uninspiring and impoverished playgrounds' and that investment is necessary to create 'the Olympians of tomorrow'.
