This book is an excellent resource for gaining understanding about the fundamental principles of ICT in the Foundation Stage curriculum. It identifies what ICT is and is not, and clearly marks out the need for appropriate use of ICT to enrich children's learning experiences. The child's home experience is valued, and the book comments on the contribution and role that parents have to play in their child's ICT experiences.
