The adult-led activities in this project should encourage children to make decisions and extend their thinking skills - that is, the children are encouraged to take an active and creative role in their learning, rather than sitting passively taking instruction. Any or all of the activities can be used as a starting point from which children can extend, build on and formulate ideas and their own theories.
