Early learning goals

Initial observation

What did I observe children doing that was significant and related to which learning goals? Have I learned anything new about any children that I could add to their profiles?

Future planning:

What will I plan to do next, indoors or out, from what I observed of the children's play, talk and/or exploration?

Activity

What experience am I going to plan so that the children will have an opportunity to extend what I noticed they were interested in. What will I do? Which children will I focus on and why?

Learning objectives

What do I want the children to learn through this activity? Which ONE of the early learning goals do I want to focus on?
