Ms Ventisei said, 'We can now say that we are the best nursery in Scotland - and that's official.' She said East Nursery had achieved the Charter Mark because of its excellent relationships with users and emphasis on social inclusion. The nursery operates an Open Door Parents Policy which provides access for parents to their child's learning whenever they wish, which was highlighted as good practice in the Charter Mark report (see Nursery World, 17 January).
