* Park Lane College in Leeds held an awards ceremony on 9 December to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the early years section. Principal Tony Longworth presented awards to those who had completed their qualifications in the early years courses. Park Lane College is the largest further education college in Leeds and was named a Beacon Centre in 1999.
