The world of babycare has lost one of its stars with the death of Tracy Hogg, who had become known as 'the Baby Whisperer'. Tracy died from cancer in November, aged 44, as her latest work, The Baby Whisperer Solves All Your Problems, was about to go to print. This month Ebury Publishing said, 'Tracy was very proud of her work and urged us to publish this book, even if she would not be here to see it. We are publishing it as a tribute to Tracy.' This last book contains Tracy's usual combination of sensible advice and sensitive insights - as her publisher says, 'demystifying the magic she performed with babies' throughout her career in maternity nursing in England and America. It answers carers' questions on feeding, sleeping and toilet training, as well as behaviour and emotions in infants and toddlers.
