From imaginative play to games and construction work, ropes are a versatile resource, says Philip Waters his laser-blaster at the ready, Josh quietly and stealthily crept around the edges of the creature's lair. The 'Slithertooth' was a snake-like creature that had been dormant for thousands of years deep within the planet's core. That was until a volcano erupted two weeks ago and sent it to the surface.

The 'Slithertooth' was a snake-like creature that had been dormant for thousands of years deep within the planet's core. That was until a volcano erupted two weeks ago and sent it to the surface.

Josh raised his blaster and aimed it at the Slithertooth's gigantic green eye. He gently squeezed the trigger. But before a shot was made the Slithertooth's tail had come from behind and in a sudden spiral movement coiled itself around Josh's body. He was paralysed and his fate was obvious.
