'It is important that people working with children are aware of this so that their practice enables the children to develop positive attitudes to differences of race, culture, religion and gender' - so says the Children (Northern Ireland) Order 1995. Anti-discriminatory practice is also a requirement of the curriculum guidance for the Foundation Stage and the national standards for the regulation of under-eights daycare and childminding in England. The following are organisations and courses that celebrate cultural diversity and promote inclusivity and anti-discriminatory practice in early years settings.
