Shepherd's Bush Library

(Photograph) - Children gathered at Shepherd's Bush Library in London on 2 June to make puppets of their favourite Hans Christian Andersen characters and celebrate the Danish storyteller's 200th birthday. Fairytales including 'The Ugly Duckling', 'The Little Mermaid' and 'The Emperor's New Clothes' have made him famous around the world and they have been translated into 145 different languages.
