The latest CD-Rom from the Mouse Club is Mouse Island, which takes young children on a magical journey with Roly Mouse, Red Mouse and Blue Mouse.
These mischievous mice are stranded on an enchanted island and set the challenge of rebuilding a shipwreck in order to escape. To do this the mice need help to complete a collection of mathematical puzzles and games.
In total Mouse Island contains 38 problem-solving puzzles, spread over three levels of difficulty. All the games introduce different maths skills and general mouse skills.
On starting the game, children can listen to a talking book, explaining how the mice arrived at the Island, or play the games. These are accessed through a cave into a secret harbour. From here children can visit the shipwreck and access the games. In order to make the ship seaworthy they have to complete each game. If they succeed they are given a vital part to help repair the ship. Complete all six games and sail away!
