Terry2 is a software program for introducing children to Logo. A free evaluation copy of Terry (print, save and export are disabled) can be downloaded from the Kudlian website, www.kudlian.net,after filling in a brief registration form. After downloading the 6MB file, double click it to install Terry2.
Terry2 has a clear and easy-to-use control panel which allows children to move the turtle around the screen to create patterns while learning about measurement of distance and angles. The software has four easily adjustable difficulty levels, from simple forwards/ backwards, left/right movements through to pen up/down, precise directional angles, complex repeats and program mode. This makes it suitable for nursery, infant and junior pupils.
